This recipe was created by a local chef, Ryan Kelley. I only got to try them once but they were so good that I was compelled to share his recipe! This is a recipe we will use often!!
Mix following ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp ground cloves
Add approximately 1 pound of Stöger Pumpkin Seeds and use rubber spatula to coat the seeds evenly. Cover sheet pan with foil and then wax paper. Spread the seeds evenly on the sheet pan. Bake for 20 minutes in a convection oven at 325 degrees or until the coating is bubbly and slight smoke comes from the pan. Remove from oven and allow to cool, approximately 30 minutes.
Break apart with hands or keep as clusters, and enjoy!
