Stöger at the Sofi Awards
Since 1972, the sofi Awards have honored the best in specialty food.
At first, only two awards were given: Outstanding Domestic Product and Outstanding Imported Product. At the time, much of the specialty food on the market came from Europe and there was a distinct Continental flair to the Fancy Food Show and the Awards.

Today, the sofi Awards represent culinary creativity across America and around the globe. Winners and finalists are selected at the Specialty Food Association headquarters in New York City by a national panel of culinary experts. Every year, sofi products are showcased at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York and the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco.
